“The Simple Things” is a regular feature here, on no schedule, of links around the internet I have found to be inspiring and/or fun to read. Each time I put one of these posts up I will include a picture from my own life showing the things that are important to me and my Simple. Organized. Life., and here is this week’s photo:

Yep, that’s my kitchen cabinet. And yes, it looks like that all the time. Some people don’t believe me when I say that I keep things tidy almost all the time, so I wanted to show that to you. Many of my friends think I am nuts, but since I have open shelves, I think they need to be kept neat and orderly. Don’t you? On to the Simple Things…

    I love how organized your kitchen shelving is. I love open shelving because it pretty much forces organization. I was just thinking yesterday that someday I will have the guts to take off my cabinet doors and do that.

    Very nice! It’s looking like I’m going to have open shelving in my bedroom after moving…with my desk and work station integrated into it…

    wow, now that I say it, this is going to be quite the experiment!

    Thanks for linking to me today. I love that your friends think you’re nuts for keeping your shelves tidy. My friends think I’m crazy because I just rearranged one of our bookshelves by color. Hm….
