That’s my cat taking in the view. After 15.5 years of hanging out with me since college, last month he was diagnosed with pretty severe heart disease. While he is stable at the moment, he isn’t long for this world – so watching him take in the view was a priceless moment. Ah, the simple things…

    Ahhh, that photo–and the moment–is priceless. My own little buddy was given an unfortunate diagnosis last month, too. Even more than before, I’ve been focusing on the simple pleasures and savoring our remaining days together. Wishing you and your furry buddy the same…
