The Simple Things Volume Six.

Posted: July 8th, 2009 | 1 Comment »

Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be away for a couple of weeks and posting will be sporadic at best. I am going to try to take an actual vacation that doesn’t involve sitting in front of the computer every day! If you are interested in writing a guest post for while I am away, please use my contact form and get in touch – would be more than happy to run one. Let me know, and see you soon!

“The Simple Things” is a regular feature here, on no set schedule, of links around the internet I have found to be inspiring and/or fun to read. Each time I put one of these posts up I will include a picture from my own life showing the things that are important to me and my Simple. Organized. Life., and here is this week’s photo:

One of my favorite things to do with some spare time is to take off on a lonely forest road and spend some time in the middle of nowhere. The quiet can be quite overwhelming out there, and it definitely gives me time to think. If you can find a place to go like that, I highly recommend it!

On Simplicity wants you to embrace simple style. So often, the simplest thing can make the biggest impression.

Home Ec 101 goes from Spotlessly Clean To Comfortably Lived In To Call The Health Department. Yikes! Really, it’s not as bad as it sounds ;)

Tiny House Living discusses this beautiful Shelter House by Franklin Azzi. What an amazing little house this would be to live in!

Simple Savvy had a green & simple wedding! Go stop by, check out the great pictures, and say congrats!

My friend Jesse from Slowing Down asks if going barefoot is catching on? I have to admit, I have been finding myself being barefoot more often than I ever have been before. Life feels more like a vacation when you are barefoot. :)

See you around!

Hey! Thanks for linking to me. I’ve also been looking into the tiny homes, and I love that link you included today.
