My Simple, Organized…Bike?

Posted: September 11th, 2009 | 2 Comments »

While I have not even used it since I moved out into the boonies, in my garage sits a very special bike – a folding version from Citizen Bike. This bike folds up into itself quite nicely, taking up barely any room at all – which will be great for when I move back to the city later this year. And while a full-size bicycle is probably going to be in the cards for me at some point in the future, due to the fact that I am going to try to make it my main mode of transportation, this little folding bike will do just fine for now, thanks. It fits in a closet, is comfortable for my 6′1″ frame, and even has a rack in the back for carrying a small bag of stuff with me. I rode it all the time when I lived in Santa Monica, and I look forward to riding it around my next home. Here are some pics I took of it back in my apartment in California:

I highly recommend you check out folding bikes if you are short on space but in need of a comfortable, solid bike. And for those of you who commute on bike to work, you can even fold it up and put it in your cubicle instead of leaving it outside all by it’s lonesome! ;)

OK, I know I’ve been absent from the blogging scene since my move (a sad fact soon to be remedied, I promise!)…but did you just say you’re moving back to the city?!?!

    What else have I missed???
